Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How this bike rack is attached, how this bike, excuse me, is attached to the rack, we're going to have two points of contact with no frame contact at all. We're going to have a ratcheting wheel strap at the back here, and at the front we're going to have this skewer that's going to wrap around the forks of our bike to keep it in place. Now, right now it is locked up, so you can not take this off the rack, and that's going to be some additional security for you. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features.Now, how this is actually attached to the rack, we have two points of contact with no frame contact at all. We have this wheel strap, this ratcheting wheel strap at the back here. Then at the front, we have this skewer here that's going to pinch in between the forks to keep the front in place as well. This also has a lock for additional security. more

Today on this 2016 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to be test-fitting the Rocky Mounts Brass Knuckles roof-mounted bike rack, part number RKY1202. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Hoe this is attached to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact with no frame contact at all. We're going to have ratcheting wheel straps on both wheels, and then we're going to have a wheel hook up at the front here, with that grip on it that gives it the name, "The Brass Knuckles". Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. We'll start with the wheel straps, you push in the tabs on the side here, like so and that will release the straps. more

Right now, it's actually secured in place by this cover so you cannot remove it, so that's an added security feature. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. To do that, with the ratcheting wheel strap, you'll have this tab here at the end. more

Today on this 2016 Hyundai Elantra we're going to be test fitting the NO Multi Fork-lock Roof Bike Rack, part number INA392. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features, excuse me. How this is attached to the bike rack itself, we're going to have 2 points of contact, we're going to have a rationing strap here at the back wheel, and up at the front it's going to go into place, you can kind of see it better up here, by using a fork mount and a skewer which will hold that in place as well as being locked into place right now. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. We'll push in on the tabs here on the side of the rationing wheel strap, then going up to the front we'll unlock the top portion. Let that come down, remove this portion, and then with the skewer we'll just loosen up the levers. Okay. more

Let's go ahead and take it off and set it aside. We'll start with the wheel strap here, you push in this black tab here to release the strap. Go up to the front, take this silver handle on the skewer, lift it out and lift it up. more

Let's go ahead and take that off, take the bike off, excuse me, and set it aside. To do that, with the wheel strap, we'll push in on the grey tab here like that and pull out the strap. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Circuit XT Roof Mounted Bike Rack, that part number is TH526XT. We already have our bike secured down, first we're going to show you we do that, and then we'll go over some features of the rack itself. Let's start here in the back. We have a ratcheting strap that's going to hold our tire in place, and then we'll have that bushing there. It's just going to protect that tire and prevent any scratches or abrasions near our spokes. I'm just going to remove that strap. At the front, we have a skewer. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we are doing a test fit of the Inno Multi-Fork Roof Mounted Bike Rack That part number is INA392. We already have our bike secured down. First we're going to show you how we do that and then we'll go over some features. We'll first take a look at our back wheel cradle here. This is adjustable along the length of your bike rack, so you can accommodate different style bikes that you may have. We also have our ratcheting strap that is going to fit between our spokes there. Up at the front we have our locking cover. We'll just remove that. We have our anti-theft and tampering device, just move that out of the way and we have our skewer back here. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail. This is a roof-mounted fork-clamp-style bike rack. The part number on it is RBC035. Now to begin our test fit we're going to place the Mountain Trailer right up onto our Rhino Rack roof rack system that we've already got installed on the vehicle. As we do this we push down on the two black rubber-coated metal straps. We want to allow those to come around the underside of that bar. more

Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Elantra

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra well be test fitting the Yakima Frontloader roof-mounted bike carrier, part number y02103. Now with a roof rack system already on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles crossbars. Well set the front head of the carrier onto the front crossbar, and then bring the black back bracket around the underside of the rear crossbar. Well then turn the black t-handle at the front of the carrier to tighten down the front bracket against the front crossbar. Once thats tightened down we can then move to the rear of the carrier where we will insert the silver t-bolt into the bottom of the bracket and turn the black wing nut to tighten it down to secure the carrier to the rear crossbar. Once the carrier is secured, were ready to load up our bike. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be test fitting the Yakima Forklift roof-mounted bike carrier, part number Y02098. With the roof rack system already assembled and onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's cross bars. We'll first loosen up the skewer to allow us to remove the black plastic safety cap, and access the black wing nut. We'll insert the silver T-bolt into the bottom part of the bracket to pinch the brackets up against the front cross bar. We'll then tighten down the black wing nut to secure the front of the carrier to the front cross bar. We'll then slide in the black plastic bracket and replace our skewer. more

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Elantra

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra well be test fitting the Thule Domestique Fork Mounted Bike Carrier, part number th513. To begin our test fit I went ahead and removed the skewer and loosened up the bolts to free up our front clamp. Well go ahead and take our carrier and place it on top of our load bars. We want to make sure that the front clamp fits around our front load bar and that our rear clamp fits around our rear load bar. Well go ahead and secure the front part of our carrier by tightening down each of the bolts to secure our clamp. Now we can move to the rear and use an Allen key to tighten down the bolts and secure the rear of our carrier. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra were going to be test fitting the Swagman Fork Style Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number s64710. To begin our test fit we already have a roof rack system installed on our vehicle so were going to begin by placing our carrier on top of our load bars. At the front, well go ahead and fit the u-bolts around our load bars and use the wing nuts to secure the front of the bike rack. At the rear, well take a u-bolt and fit it through the top of the carrier. Well go ahead and run the bolt through our clamp and then secure by tightening down the wing nuts. With that done, our bike rack is secured to our vehicle and were ready to load up our bike. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod stretch roof-mounted bike carrier, part number RKY1011. With the roof rack system already assembled onto the vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's load bars. We'll go ahead and remove the black plastic cap to bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the front load bar and hook them into position. Once we have these into position, we can then go ahead and use an Allen key to tighten them down. We'll go ahead and replace the black plastic cap, and then move to the rear, where we'll undo the Allen bolts and swing around our clamp to fit our load bar. Once we have the clamp into position, we can then tighten down the Allen bolts with the Allen key, and secure it to our carrier. more

Alright today on this 2010 Hyundai Elantra we are going to do a test fit of the Thule bike rack the Domestique, part number th513. Now our car has already been equipped with a Thule Roof Rack system with square load bars, and weve also assembled our bike rack according to the instructions so now its just a matter of installing it on the roof rack. We will take the front half of the bike rack and line it up with the front crossbar and then install our clamp on the bottom. Okay now we will go ahead to the back crossbar, line up the rear mount for that, and then go ahead and install the hardware for it. Now well go ahead and take a few seconds to make sure the bike rack is sitting square on the car, and then we can go ahead and tighten down everything for good. Now we can install the skewer that will hold the bike in place. more

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Hyundai Elantra with AeroBlade Roof Rack

Today in this 2010 Hyundai Elantra, were going to do a test fit of a Thule Bicycle Rack, product number TH513, the Domestique Bike Carrier. Now, our car is already equipped with a roof rack with the Thule AeroBlade System on top. Now, we got our bicycle rack already assembled per the instructions, we'll go ahead and try it out on the AeroBars. Well go ahead and line up the front of the bike carrier with the front crossbar first and then we'll go to the back and line up that one. So the screws are already in place, all we got to do is just line up with the bottom plate and screw it down, alright. We'll go ahead and make sure that the plate for the second cross rail is in the proper spot, then we'll go ahead and drop in the hardware from the top to the bottom, then install the clamp on the bottom half. more
